Kevin W. EnglishKevin W. English

Kevin English has held numerous senior executive positions for major global corporations and recently created his own company to provide operational assessment and interim leadership for organizations undergoing high growth or transformation. His distinguished career has been associated with the technology, publishing, media, financial services, and automotive industries.

Prior to co-founding Board Effectiveness Partners, Kevin was the Chairman, CEO, and President of Covisint. Earlier, he served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, e-Commerce for Credit Suisse First Boston, and was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TheStreet.com, which he took public in a $100 million IPO in 1999.

Kevin's previous experiences include numerous executive leadership positions with Reed Elsevier, the Dutch publishing giant that owns LexisNexis, and with several high-technology companies. Kevin holds a B.A., cum laude, from Stonehill College.


John A. McCreightJohn A. McCreight

Since 1968, John has devoted his consulting career to partnering with senior executives, board leaders, and investors, primarily in technology-focused industries, designing and implementing strategic change. He has served his clients' interests in Japan, Canada, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom, Western Europe, and the United States. Prior to consulting, John served as Information Technology Section Chief with Textron and Thiokol, contractors to NASA's Apollo and the Department of Defense's Minuteman programs. He has also been a management consulting partner and member of the executive committee of Touche Ross (currently Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu).

John's experience includes serving, full-time, as co-leader of a Presidential Commission established to strengthen the organization effectiveness of the U.S. Navy. Prior to co-founding Board Effectiveness Partners, he co-founded the CIO Group, an information technology consulting firm, and founded and serves asthe Chairman of McCreight & Company, a firm specializing in strategy implementation.

John is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a member, and former director and officer, of the Institute of Management Consultants. He is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Ireland-US Council for Commerce and Industry, the New York Academy of Sciences, the Foreign Policy Association, the Business Council for the United Nations, the Forum for World Affairs, the Institute of Management Consultants, and the National Sciences Foundation. His career also features service on the following boards: Global Trade Finance Network, Access Ambulance Company and Marine Environmental Research Institute. John holds a B.S. in Management Sciences from Northeastern University.


Mark J. Schneiderman

Mark Schneiderman advises corporate leaders on strategy implementation and change management. Prior to co-founding Board Effectiveness Partners, Mark served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Chemical Bank and Alexander & Alexander Services.

During his career, Mark has been a key leader in a global corporate transformation, point person in several large-scale merger integrations, and the key executive responsible for organizational change in a major turnaround. Forming his own company in 1997, Schneiderman Associates, he has focused on helping clients achieve business objectives through effective alignment of management systems and processes, including organizational design, staffing, compensation, performance management, and communications.

Mark is a member of the Board of Directors of the business school at Yeshiva University and a member of the Board of Directors of the Unemployment Benefits Association. He has served as a Director of the New York University School of Continuing Education and has been a pro bono advisor to the Workforce Institute at Queens College. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Case Western Reserve University.
